“Jessica was my Wonder Woman. She was so knowledgeable and informative. She taught me so much. I have an improved quality of life after seeing her. Both pelvic floor and back! I highly recommend Jessica to everyone I know.”

- Nancy

“Had I learned what I know now after I had my baby, my life would have been very different.”

"I thought it was a natural course in one's life that as we aged, we would lose our strength and support in our pelvic floor. Enter Dr. Jessica Juliano, DPT, an abdominal and pelvic floor therapist. I quickly made an appointment. In each session, with compassion and kindness, she taught me simple techniques to strengthen my supporting muscles. I felt at ease and comfortable with her each time we met and came away with a new understanding of how my body works. No matter what our age or gender is, it is never too late to learn the exercises that will keep us strong and confident all the days of our lives. Thank you Jessica!"

- Karen

“Jessica is professional as well as being personable. Her techniques for pelvic floor strengthening were explained perfectly. After PT I have continued the program and avoided surgery. I highly recommend Jessica as a pelvic floor physical therapist.”

What to expect for therapy sessions

INITIAL EVALUATIONS

Overview

Initial evaluations range from 60 to 75 minutes, depending on the complexity of symptoms and each individual case.

What to Expect

The session includes a review of medical history and intake forms, explanation of any assigned home exercises, and extensive education on how current symptoms occur and how physical therapy can help address them.

Assessment Options

If necessary, the physical therapist may offer to perform an internal pelvic floor assessment to evaluate for weakness, muscle tension, or prolapse. This is only conducted if deemed appropriate and with the patient’s consent. A great deal can also be accomplished through a global (external) assessment without an internal exam.

Evaluation Cost and Preparation

The evaluation cost also covers the time your physical therapist spends reviewing intake forms before your session to ensure a personalized, thorough experience.

TREATMENT SESSIONS

Session Duration and Focus

Treatment sessions range from 40 to 50 minutes and include education, demonstration, and training on exercises and techniques. Handouts are provided as guides for independent work at home.

Building Independence

The goal is to equip each patient with the tools needed to address symptoms independently and transition to discharge once they feel confident continuing on their own.

Progress and Follow-Up

Because many people have experienced symptoms for years or even decades, it can take more than a few weeks to notice significant improvement. Consistency with the home program is key, and follow-up sessions can be spaced out as needed.

One-on-One Care

Patient slots are never double-booked, and you will always work directly with a doctor of physical therapy during every session.

No videos, recordings or photos allowed during sessions without consent of the provider

Payment Policy

This is a cash-pay only clinic. Acceptable forms of payment include cash, check, and credit/debit cards, including FSA/HSA. I do not process insurance claims, so if you are seeking reimbursement for out-of-pocket expenses, a receipt can be provided. You are responsible for submitting the receipt to determine if you will be reimbursed for any of the services.

If you are seeking to use Medicare insurance or reimbursement through Medicare, you will need to find a different provider that accepts it. However, individuals with Medicare are welcome to participate in the monthly community wellness courses, which provide education on these impairments and ways to improve them.
